Ceaseless infinite 'Connectivity' that the internet brings is a death knell to close-mindedness!
The last century was fraught with wars and went through its own destructive evolutionary process of mass bloodshed; we humans realized that nothing is better than peaceful co-existence. Lessons from history have taught us that progress in life is about construction, creative productive ideas, and love of mankind, and not about religious ideologies or medieval practices, wars and disasters.
Modern world has no room for disagreements and hatred. Our genetic model is based on that. Mankind is a great big orchestra where each man is a conductor playing the symphony of love. It is scripted within all of us. I always say if you want to ignite a fire make sure you have an extinguisher nearby. Don't ignite fires which you cannot handle. Swallow your conceit and co-habit -- that is the way forward for mankind.
In 1842, the English poet Lord Alfred Tennyson, published the often-quoted lines ("Locksley Hall"):
For I dip into the future, far as human eye could see
Saw a Vision of the world, and all the wonder that would be
till the war-drum throbb'd no longer and the battle-flags were furled
In the Parliament of man, the Federation of the world. There the common sense of most shall hold a fretful realm in awe And the kindly earth shall slumber leapt in universal law.
