Stop crushing minds, help them, let them grow and reach out, don't talk of legislation but accountability; we are short on responsibility long on legislation.This is not about throwing money, this is all about living as pure human sentient beings.
The onset of a nuclear family; A deranged 'Mindset' that is armed to teeth is a dangerous combo! When a mind is left alone amidst so much of power guns, with so many runs of dry target practices, with so much of dangerous prodding of war with 'baddies and goodies,' and the lone star fighter concept associated with total neglect it can lead a mind can to go through a nuclear meltdown, he went through one, a nuclear core meltdown and with the symptoms displayed all around no one noticed, no one really cared, most regrettably until the tragedy hits with its most hideous tentacles it is not taken critically.
The need is to change the mindset that is too self-centred please. It is not about ‘I’ or ‘me’ it is about us!!
Please don’t in haste kill the messenger, read the message please. Stamford CT is 40 miles from New Town CT but the father who is a senior executive had no time since June to look after his unhinged son, how you can legislate this egocentricity. The mother takes her son to weekend high explosive pump guns deadly weapons and let him target practice and leaves him with Video Games, where is the education and commonsense here, if this is not criminal neglect what else is?
You bring a child that has clear syndromes of autism; yet you walk away, ‘you’ are more important than ‘him’, threw some big money astutely and thought ‘you did your job.’ Yes, you did for your own life, but society was poorer, society cannot fend for these loners who need attention and love and care. How can you legislate to insert common sense and the idea that it is not about $'s Sir! Is not this perpetration of neglect that begins from those entrusted with care.
“Mental breakdown” One of the symptoms of an approaching nervous breakdown is the belief that one’s work is terribly important.” - Bertrand Russell - 1872-1970
The vanity and egotistic wish to have a extravagant magnificent death by killing as much as possible, the strong feeling of great strength and harping of extraordinary fire power, idolising gun culture and wars of goodies over baddies has skewed the mind of young and adolescents.
Today handheld devices factor various atmospheric conditions affecting a bullets flight, into deadly pinpoint accuracy, these are coupled with precision scopes and advanced rifle design, snipers are more than deadly, and they’re devastating. The mindset that views itself as the centre of the universe is the result of a culture that promotes self-centredness as an asset. We are just blob of love and let’s do it that way.
The 'Great American Dream' is to be sovereign masters of 'our' lives, the dream of making 'mega bucks' and the 'dream of being eternally happy.' None of this brings happiness it has to be around more tangible thing of a human relationship, if you become a loner your path becomes knotty and complex, we are not designed as loners, we need each other. The fantasy world has a momentarily fleeting and nano-seconds of happiness it furnace requires continuous pumping of money more goods more consumption. How much more money one can burn? It is a nano-high. The real high is true human love. You can get a lot of it if add your love into the relationships, your availability is more sought than anything else. It is your soul that matters and that is most sadly missing from the equation here.
American dream is a final frontier for achieving material comfort abundantly, the whole world childishly chase this dream. And why not; is life not about living with a flair and style? Where it really goes wrong is when you are unable to even share this effortless human fad with our own brood. Selfishness is at the heart of the rut we are in.
American divorce rate is the highest number of divorces per thousand, and the number of suicides and homicides are highest amongst the developed nations. Consumerism and more consumption is not a roadway to happiness it is sharing of the 'treasures of opulence and care for’ with everyone and making everyone a part of our life that bring colour to existence and true happiness.
This 'nuclear family' based 'me and her' does not work; it has to include the reaching out to those who need our attention. To meet on a single set day is wrong, to cut your own children out of your life as if they never existed is a sin, to ignore pain of others is banality personified. We all need to grow out of ‘father's day and mother's day obsession’ we need to think that these children need us more than they need our money they need our cal every week if not every day, we need to talk to them and guide them.
Bare capitalism takes soul out of relationships, a capitalism that puts our ordinary self at the centre of all of this is the precise arrangement, talk with people who need your support and find solutions, sacrifice even if wronged, reach out. It is not a legislation issue, it is a human tragedy and it needs to tackled by all of us, let's not throw our 'own thrash and rubbish' at someone else's door step, but rather start from our home, to our neighbourhood, to our district and city and the nation and the whole world.

Sign of great magnanimity- Drop for the victims. But it would be sometime great to refer to collateral damage where children die. A tear for others too will help world become a better place Mr. Obama.
If we are consumed with the respect of human life we will instil that in lack of belligerency towards others, all these extraordinary weapons need to be addressed and this continuous education of violence needs to stop, not by legislation but by choice. Can’t we regret and drop a tear when collateral damage happens due to our war and drone hit/efforts? Why not? Children are children if the criminals are using them as covers, it is not a bad idea to shed a tear or two, it is humane to see POTUS weeping for children, but if he sheds a drop for others too; more benevolence will transpire greater universal goodwill and love.
We have raised violence to the pedestal of idol worship, dethrone it, every aspect of our life should highlight the importance of our sentient status and raise our connective and collective consciousness.
Small Arms wreak havoc in neighbourhood but they are the cause of 90% of civilian casualties. The rising accessibility of small arms has been a key factor in the enlargement of conflicts, and in encumbering smoother reconstruction and growth after a conflict has ended. It is estimated, for example, that:
There are around half a billion military small arms around the world;
Some 300,000 to half a million people around the world are killed by them each year;
They are the major cause of civilian casualties in modern conflicts.
